each individual, after that amount is spent, must get approved or

Clientele: Children only, ages 3-18, unless on Medicaid, then

Guidelines: Appointments only, there is a waiting list, but
will try to work in emergencies. Open M-F 8am - 5pm,lunch is from
12-1. If not on Medicaid, parent must bring proof of income to qualify
for sliding scale and you must pre-qualify before patient is seen
by a dentist.
Pinellas County Human Services
has a
medical and dental program for low-income adults, ages of 18 and
65 who are Pinellas county residents. who meet eligibility requirements.
If you are eligible for services, you may receive general primary care
with access to prescriptions, hospital care, and lab work. Dental care
is relief of pain only. You can have an income but must be at 100% of
the poverty guidelines. You must have a medical problem. They do not
provide preventative care. You cannot
have any health insurance, including Medicaid or Medicare. You must
bring certain documents of proof, call ahead for a list of the documents
needed. Pinellas County Human Services prefers that individuals schedule
appointments ahead of
time. Without an appointment, individuals will be seen on a first come,
first serve basis. If you bring all necessary documents, the caseworker
may be able to determine your eligibility that same day. There are five

Guidelines: Triage time is at 7:30 am, 8 patients only, cost is usually $80 which includes exam, x-ray and one procedure. Treatment above and beyond the one procedure is offered at 1/3 less the price of a private office.

emergency dental clinic is offered every morning Monday through Friday.
Emergency walk-ins must arrive at 7:30 a.m. The clinic is limited to the
first 8 people. There is NO guarantee to
be seen. Potential patients are encouraged to call the day before to
make sure the clinic will be
open. Most procedures cost $110, generally 1/3 the cost of private
dental fees
